A Widget With Two iframes

One more nice thing about using Hype to create your iBook Author widgets is that you can combine different resources. This would have been useful with the flipped classroom I used two years ago. As I was showing iBook author to a colleague she liked the idea of having everything in one space for the students. I think this takes it one step further. I can take an iframe embed of a video using any source from Youtube to Vimeo and place it in a Hype HTML widget object. Then beside it I can add an embed of a Google form that I can use to have students answer some questions about the video. Although I could add the video to the Google Form this is more flexible as not all video content is on Youtube!!

When ready I can export it from Hype as a iBook Author Widget and add it to my iBook.

The video below shows this in action.
